Become a Part of History: Testify at The National Citizens Inquiry
The NCI will be conducting hearings in the Waterloo Region!
The National Citizens Inquiry (NCI) is a citizen-led and citizen-funded initiative that is completely independent from government and operates without legal compulsion or coercion. It has been created to support the following objectives:
1. TO LISTEN to the stories of Canadians impacted by the health protection measures adopted, and to the testimonies of experts, including those whose narratives differ from the governmental narrative.
2. TO LEARN what went right and what went wrong during the past three years, and what are the lessons to be learned from Canada’s COVID-19 experience?
3. TO RECOMMEND ways and means of ensuring that any future national crises are better managed, harms mitigated, and trust in public institutions upheld.
BECOME A PART OF HISTORY: TESTIFY AT THE NATIONAL CITIZENS INQUIRY
The National Citizens Inquiry will be conducting further hearings this year in Edmonton, Alberta and Kitchener, Ontario. The theme of the 2025 hearings will again address the question: “Are children safe in Canada?” Since the NCI was commissioned, there are a number of areas of concern that have been identified by both expert and lay individuals that impact the safety of our children. If you are someone who has developed expertise or demonstrated significant interest in the safety of our children, we invite you to apply to testify at these hearings, either in person or virtually.
All Canadians and foreign experts are eligible to apply to testify at the NCI Hearings. Please carefully read the information and guidelines below before applying.
